albino ferret in the wild
#1
Does anyone spot them in the wild?

Can they do well without the camouflage?

Most old ferret drawing are albino, does that mean they are more domesticated?

what is your thought?
Dam it, I missed the ferret smell off my sock drawer.  Confused

See them regularly in the wild and they do just fine.

I was shooting a block a while back and kept seeing a white ferret over several weeks, I'm sure it was foloowing the shooting as it knew there was a cheap feed waiting where the banging came from. Tried to catch that one a few times but always just missed it.

I know my albino "Blinkey" is not wild but here he is for a bit of entertainment...

Thought I'd open a YouTube Channel for Happy Ferrets so I can share my videos.

normal summer coat? or early sign of adrenal disease? Mine had adrenal disease live to 5.

Naaa... he has always been wiry and a coat that he doesn't care about Smile
He is still a clown and the most active of the lot - he is coming on for 8-years old now.
My house has central climate control and may play a factor in his coat - some of mine know when it is summer (like Chase, his brother) and just blow their winter coat around the house (and in my moth) Smile
Adrenal illness IS a VERY common complication and probably the cause of up to 50% of my losses.
Signs are indeed hair-loss but in this case (because of constant all-year-round climate control) is not - he is just an idiot!. Smile
Recently, I have been trying to subject their room to normal climatic temperatures but they still seem to be conditioned to what they were used to in the past.
